ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Erica and I are going on our biggest road trip ever, nine days, ten states, 2 countries, one province and two Penn State games. We leave tonight. I will probably update the blog occasionally, but do not fear, there will likely be daily updates under the direction of Fritz Hamme, guest editor. Among other things, I am going to try and bring the Expos home (to D.C.) with me.
Expos Will Remain in NL East in 2005 – The Post
I would not read too much into this announcement. The real question would be if they were playing home games when Baltimore is on the road.
ONLY 1 DAY UNTIL KICKOFF
Hall, McQueary change atmosphere – The Collegian
It is not surprising that Galen Hall is getting rave reviews, but Mike McQueary is a bit of a surprise.
True Blue wants crazy fans – The Collegian
A grass roots movement to get us all to wear blue on gameday and be at the game half an hour before kickoff. These are some great ideas. For the 9th consecutive season, I will be doing my part by wearing blue.
Secondary looks to stop Frye, Zips talented passing attack
– The Collegian
More about the matchup between Akron QB Charlie Frye and the PSU DBs.
Lions need more Zip for opener vs. Akron – The Collegian
No kidding, they have come out flat in every opener since ’99.
Jenny Vrentas – Trick plays in the works for Lions – The Collegian
The downside of trick plays is that they tend to work against September opponents, but not October ones.
Humphrey will attend Altoona campus for fall – The Collegian
Why the hell is Maurice Humphrey allowed to even set foot on a Penn State campus? Remember, he was convicted of a crime against two Penn State students. My alma mater does not need people like him! Let him get his second chance at some other university, he abused his privilege to attend Penn State. I am going to email Dr. Spainer when I get back and you should too.
Ex-tailback Shaw becomes a part of Penn State’s linebacker corps – Patriot-News
Another profile of mLB Tim Shaw.
Losing seasons take toll on PSU program – Post-Gazette
Former PSU All American Jeff Hartings has tough words for the program. Ouch.
That’s all folks, I am out of time. Have a great week!
