Randal Graves would approve
On my daily post-launch walk I had an epiphany.
This fall, after the chaise lounges are put away for the season, we need to play floor hockey on the roof of my apartment building. The sundeck there is suitably rectangular and big enough for several players per side. I am kicking myself for not thinking of this until now, five years after I moved in. I cannot imagine that floor hockey equipment costs too much, and some folks may already have hockey sticks. So, friends, are you interested?
The only thing better would be renting out the ice rink at Pentagon Row and playing broomball. If I can get ten people together for that one, we could probably get the cost down to $60 per player, factoring in rink rental and brooms. That is something I REALLY want to do.
