Nationals Know What They’ll Get – The Post
All signs point to Mets 3B coach Manny Acta will be named the Nationals new manager, possibly today. He was part of the organization during the last two Montréal seasons. P John Patterson is probably the player most excited to have Acta in the dugout. Acta looks to be more of a players manager than his predecessor, but then again, who wouldn’t be?

Nats president Stan Kasten will be chatting on washingtonpost.com today at 10 a.m. Expect lots of remarks like “I will not confirm any rumors” “player development, customer satisfaction, and community involvement” “yes, your seats will be similar in the new ballpark” and “try the brisket.”
