Ohio State afraid of mud, grass stains

Ohio Stadium getting artificial turf – AP/centralohio.com
Ohio State made a stupid decision today — they are switching to artificial turf at Ohio Stadium. I maintain it is inexcusable for a Land Grant university to have an artificial surface. Is their turfgrass science program that bad? Why not just put a roof up too?
