Nationals’ Best Is Not Good EnoughThe Post

Sour end for NatsThe Wash. Times
The Nats blew an 8-3 lead in the sixth inning. Shawn Hill just didn’t have good stuff (The Post) on the mound and would you believe that a Felipe Lopez error was involved there too? So much for a quick getaway day game. They even chased Brad Penny from the mound after five innings.

Robert Fick homered for the first time all year. Brian Schneider played first base.

Hill was hard on himself (The Wash. Times)after the game. Jesus Colome left the game with shin splints too.

Jason Bergmann answered questions for The Wash. Times Nats blog, Chatter. If I could only figure out who wrote this question:

Kind of tied in – what is the perception of the internet among the team? I’m recalling a player saying “internet baaaad!” when a picture of me and Fick was taken at the Diamond Gala and I said it would be posted on the internet. And follow-on: Would any of the players (or yourself) keep their own blogs? Someone with a big personality who isn’t afraid of it? I’d love to see a Nats player’s blog. (I’ll accept guest posts… haha!)

I’m just completely baffled as to who it could be.

I can’t find the Jim Bowden column yet.
