Paterno’s Big11Ten pay rank; plans to coach for a few more years

I found the article I was looking for — the one that notes what Joe Paterno makes compared to his Big11Ten peers or at least what everyone made in 2006. Out of the ten salaries available (Northwestern has not disclosed what Pat Fitzgerald earns) Paterno comes in eighth. Iowa is getting ripped off though.

Nats hire Devon White; D.C. bowl game and no more RFK revenue

Devon White has joined the organization as the new roving outfield instructor (Nationals Journal). I probably had his baseball card at some point, but don’t recall ever having watched him play. They say he was quite good though.
