A blogger wonders aloud if New York’s now iconic (I still prefer tokens) MetroCard should be redesigned. Comparisons to D.C.’s SmarTrip and farecards, Boston’s Charlie card ensue, as do calls to spend money on making the trains on time/stations nicer.
