Nittany Lions Earn 33rd Top 25 Ranking Under Joe Paterno - Intercollegiate Athletics
Make it two consecutive top 25 finishes in a row for the Nittany Lions in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Actually, make it two consecutive #25 finishes in the Coaches Poll. The Nittany Lions were not ranked by the AP Poll coming in as the second "Also Receiving Votes" team.
