Working phone booth found in Vienna

Last phone booth in BeltwayLand?
VIENNA, Va. — Despite claims to the contrary, an opearational phone booth has been found in the D.C. metro area. This Verizon phone booth is located several paces from the Vienna Inn, 120 E. Maple Ave. (VA 123). I noticed it after a recent lunch over there. I popped inside the booth and verified there was a dial tone.

Over the last year, The Post reported on what was believed to be the last working phone booth, located in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington. That phone booth was removed last month.

The photograph above was taken with my Verizon Wireless camera phone.
