Boswell talks to Ted Lerner; Nats keep foot on Mets neck

Bos and Nationals principle owner Ted Lerner sat down and talked about the franchise. There are a few interesting tidbits in their like Ryan Zimmerman turning down a “fair contract” because he wants to play his way into an elite one. Not discussed — the incomplete ballpark offices/unpaid rent issue.
Oh and Odalis Pérez pitched his best game of the season and scored the only run. Mike Hinckley and Joel Hannrahan finished it off, final score 1-0 over the Mets who may be choking in September yet again.
