i-99 finally opened yesterday, but…

I-99 open to all traffic – CDTi-99 is now a continous route between just north of the I-70/76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) near Bedford and near I-80 north of Bellefonte. The new section, opened yesterday (two days after the last Penn State football game naturally), does not have all four lanes open though.

Paterno gets new hip; Rally in the Vally speech

Joe Paterno celebrated Penn State’s Big11Ten title by getting his hip replaced yesterday. The operation was apparently successful. He may be back on his feet today. Get well coach!
I suggest we take coach’s old hip and make it the new Land Grant Trophy as it would be an improvement over the original one.

Penn State won the Big11Ten! Everything is coming up roses! The Nittany Lions throttled Michigan State 49-18. It seems like everyone we know was at the game, but e watched it over at my parents house with a nice warm fire. We had a great time, though a Yale win would have been nice too.
