Real snow in Northern Virginia
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — For the first time in two years, we had a significant snow storm in greater Washington D.C. We were way overdue, just last week Capital Weather Gang was talking about the historic lack of snow over the last few years.
6″ feel in western Alexandria.
FRANCONIA, Va. — Several miles south and actually higher in elevation, Franconia only got 4″.
TYSONS CORNER, Va. — Another Fairfax County location checked in with 6 1/4″ inches of snow.
Next time I won’t rely on the cellphone camera, I’ll use a real one.
