Opening Day Nats tickets still available

Many Nationals fans probably got an email earlier in the week reminding them that there were still tickets to Opening Day at Nationals Park. I bought mine as soon as they went on sale, but perhaps in the future I ought to wait and buy them at the box office and save the service fees. I would have thought the prospect of President Obama throwing out the first pitch would sell lots of tickets, but apparently not. Also, there should be a pretty heavy contingent of Phillies fans in the park that day. Philly blog The 700 Level has a group coming down. I am sure lots of other Philadelphians past and present will be there too.

This kind of reminds me of 2005 when tickets to the Phillies Opener/Nats first game were readily available the week before the game. Like Nationals Park, Citizens Bank Park was in its second year. Nats fans had a respectable turnout for that first game.
