Alex Ovechkin crushes Jaromir Jagr
Why yes, this does provide a little catharsis for this Capitals fan, but not as much as watching Alex Ovechkin during the regular season of course. Hopefully, this video doesn’t go away anytime soon.
Jagr, who dogged it for 2.5 seasons in Washington, provided this excellent quote:
“I wish I had a concussion. That way I would forget Ovechkin quicker.”
This is great of course, but in the end, when it comes to the Olympics, I want the USA to win period. They are playing Canada as we speak.
I can't speak for Caps fans since I root for the Pens, but wouldn't you all rather see Ovy try to take out Sid sometime in the medal round? That's what I'm afraid of. Jagr's best days are clearly behind him and besides, it seemed like a clean hit to me.
Frankly, the only team in Olympics hockey I care about is USA, who beat Canada last night.
I'd rather Ovi "take out" Crosby in game 4 of a playoff series if you know what I mean. I'm not rooting for injuries, just the Caps and USA.
