Oh no, Stephen Strasburg is on the SI cover

Q@#$%&!

Mr. Irrelevant notes that this Sports Illustrated cover to features Stephen Strasburg. This is the first time time the Washington Nationals have gotten the front cover treatment and I’ve begun to panic — the Sports Illustrated Cover Jinx is NOT what we need right now. DC Sports Bog notes the recent history of D.C. sportsmen on SI’s cover is not a good one. Haven’t D.C. fans suffered enough? Why can’t the cover be something like this:

Peter Angelos & Rob Dibble - the SI cover Nats fans really want to see

On a lighter note:

Also, if any season ticket holders could get me 2 tickets for Friday night’s game without the extra fees, I’d be much obliged.
