There is a big price increase for Beaver Stadium parking this coming Penn State Nittany Lions football season. Parking passes bought day of game will go up in price from $20 to $40. Wow, I thought $20 was steep. Parking passes bought in advance will be $12 which is a lot more reasonable.
You can order them via the PSU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) NITTANY or e-mail golions@psu.edu. They say you ought to do it no later than 2 weeks before the game. You can also order them from Ticketmaster, service feeds probably apply:
September 4 – Youngstown State
September 18 – Kent State
September 25 – Temple
October 9 – Illinois
October 30 – Michigan
November 6 – Northwestern
November 27 – Michigan State
It looks like single game tickets are available for all games through Ticketmaster as well.
While I am not surprised parking prices have increased, I am surprised that they have gone up 100% in one season. I guess I should not underestimate Penn State’s desire for cash. Traffic flow and less parking are also reasons for the change I suppose.
