Oh and Ball-Wonk was not the first Nats blog. While I was not and have never been blogging about just the Nats, I did write my first DC baseball related post in April 2004 (Internet Archive). After a hiccup in migrating to WordPress, I only have archives currently back to July 2004, but that certainly predates Ball-Wonk. If you want to get specific about the first Nationals blog, I’d credit Distinguished Senators which started in June 2004.
