Nats ought to learn to spell if they want to be America’s team

If the Washington Nationals want to be America’s team, like Drew Storen suggests…

…they ought to learn how to spell. John Lannan’s name got misspelled again, according to Nationals Journal, The Post.

Of course, LANNAN has never beaten the Philadelphia Phillies, so maybe this LANNEN guy will do better? #amiright

UPDATE: He did do better — first win ever over Philly. Yay. Also, since Lannan/Lannen is an American hero, he should have been pitching the video.

Striving to be America’s team, in part because of all the outreach they do with the military, isn’t a bad idea, but the Nats PR ought to make sure they are D.C.’s team first, right?

First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. Lannan faces Roy Oswalt. The game is on WJFK 106.7 FM today to, but I’ll be listening online.
