Looking back at the US Botanic Garden holiday model trains

Two truss bridges
WASHINGTON, D.C. — My 3½ year old and I visited the 2011 U.S Botanic Garden Season’s Greeting Holiday Exhibit the day before it closed. I had hoped to get their earlier, but the schedule did not work out that way and I did not get to blog about it before it closed. Nevertheless, I took a lot of photographs and think they are still worth sharing. The display was impressive with many bridges and scenes made of plants instead of plastic or metal.

This year, I’ll try to get to the show earlier in the season and blog about it while it is still open.
