It's New Year's Eve, the most hyped day in a long time.
It's 8 AM and I cannot get that excited,
though this is the last day of the 20th Century.
Maybe I'll get excited for the real millennium.
Good luck with Y2K, and stay tuned for "WF-Y-2K."

My marathon trip across the
Mid-Atlantic was long, tiring, but overall not bad.
Erica's been here since Wednesday night,
as has Steve F. (Forssell, not Forbes).
yesterday, I took Erica to the
National Air and Space Musuem. We met up with Terry and Michelle
at Union Station, saw Man on the Moon
the Andy Kaufmann bio-pic, which was pretty good.
Then, we met up with Steve F. and went to Bullfeathers on the Hill, followed by a
trip to Vienna. What fun we all had.

Last night, Penn State defeated Texas A&M
in the Alamo Bowl, 24-0, in
Jerry Sandusky's final game as defensive coordinator.
I watched it at Mr. Day's Sports Cafe in the District with my father and members
of the
Penn State Alumni Association Washington Chapter, which I recently
joined. Penn State finishes the season 10-3, the 18th 10-win season under
Paterno.

Personal News
On Saturday, I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Media Studies and a minor in History.
In attendance at Commencement at the Bryce Jordan Center were my parents, brother Christopher, Uncle Frank and Rosalie, and Erica.
Following the ceremony, we all went to the Nittany Lion Inn for a buffet lunch.
The previous night, we went to the Tavern for dinner.
I moved out of my apartment Saturday and am now in BeltwayLand for the immediate future.
The end of the semester was pretty hectic, that's why WWN is late this week, again.

Penn State's Women's Volleyball team
swept Stanford for the National Championship!
They had been defeated in the previous two finals in five sets, but this year won to end the season
with a 36-1 record, after starting 0 - 1. I made it out to see them play UCLA in the semi-final at
Rec Hall.

Personal News
As of Wednesday night, 10:15 PM, I am no longer employed by CAC.
It was actually a pretty good ride and Kip Lewis was the best boss I have had to date.
I am finished with classes for the semester, exams remain, then it'll be done for.
The end of the semester is generally pretty hectic, that's why WWN is late this week.

I had a great time in BeltwayLand over Thanksgiving, I ate a lot, watched a lot of videos (below), and football. Now, its crunch time, I have less than two weeks left of classes and exams.

Entertainment News
Saw a lot of movies over the past ten days... (ratings out of five stars)
Election *** - not bad for a teen movie. Smarter than most. Interesting to see Matthew Broderick in a role that is so "anti-Ferris."
Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me * - Very dissapointing, I did not laugh out loud more
than three times.
The Matrix - * BOOORING. What was the big deal about this? it just was not entertaining, must be Keanu's (pronounced "KOO - NO") fault.
South Park, Bigger, Badder, and Uncut *** - This was about what I expected, maybe a little better. Not as much bathroom humor as I expected.

Penn State is going to play Texas A&M in the Alamo Bowl, pending Kansas State not going to the BCS. If K-State goes, it will probably become Oklahoma.
