"NOT AS HAPPY" VALLEY U.S.A. -- Today, Webmasters William F. Yurasko and Bradford M. Stratton announced that their respective sites have combined forces to recognize the winner of the "Whose Fault is it That Penn State Lost?" poll with the inagural "MulchNet Purple Clown Award."

Mr. Yurasko, of Yurasko.net, created the poll to recognize who was responsible for the cataclymic event of the Penn State loss. Mr. Stratton, of MulchNet, recently created to Purple Clown award to represent idoicy. It is based on the story of a friend of Mr. Stratton who in a state of intoxication acknowledged that he/she wanted to get it on with a purple clown. The two decided, via teleconference to merge the two features for this occassion. Future partnerships may also occur.

"It is my pleasure to be working with MulchNet on the Purple Clown Award. This may be the beginning of future partnerships," said Mr. Yurasko.

The poll, which began Sunday evening contains five candidates for official scapegoat of the Penn State vs. Minnesota loss. They are, in order, Dawn Barger, Mike Donegan, Josie Duckett, Wally Richardson, and the Minnesota "Skunk" mascot. As of Monday afternoon, the Minnesota Skunk led with 33% of the vote with Barger at 24% followed by Duckett and Donegan with 24% of the vote. Richardson rounded up the voting with 5% of all votes tallied. The winner will be announced Friday afternoon, with write-in votes counted as well. Freepolls.com is the provider of the poll.
