Long story short

  • Born in Jersey, the family moved to BeltwayLand (Northern Virginia suburbs of our nation's capital) and remains there today.
  • Grew up on cul-de-sac full of blue eyed, Catholic Republicans who did not have big government connections -- they were the connections.
  • Spent thirteen years in the Fairfax County Public Schools.
  • Matriculated to Pennsyvania State University, Hazleton, for first two years of college.
  • Spent following five semesters in University Park, completing B.A. in Media Stuides from the College of Communications. A minor in History too.
  • Interned on Capitol Hill one summer (previous century).
  • Began working for Gannett Co. Inc. in 2000 and continues to do so.
  • Part of new media team that supports over thirty newspaper Web sites.
  • Member of professional, alumni and cultural organizations.
  • Wife: Erica. She's great.
  • Becoming avid hiker, cyclist, skier, ice skater, and digital photographer.
