Year 1 of the Washington Nationals ended yesterday with a 9 – 3 loss, but that hardly mattered, because it was a much better year (The Wash. Times) than we could have reasonably expected. While it would have been great to beat the Phillies at least once in this series to get above .500, just having a .500 team was good enough for this season. This was the goal from day 1 in Philadelphia

Over the next few weeks I am going to put all my thoughts about the season together; I just don’t have time now.
