Powell Meets With D.C. Officials About Nats

(D, Ward-2) to assure them that the Washington Baseball Club is committed to the District. Powell is one of the more high profile investors in the preferred choice of the District to be awarded the Nationals.
Notes: Nats unveil new alternate jersey
The ever-resilient MLB did not let lease negotiations get in the way of unveiling more merchandise. The new alternate jersey is red with the interlocking DC in white on the left and a blue number on the right. They also switched to a blue batting jersey. Maybe, IF the Nats ever get an owner, I will get the blue batting jersey, but not until then. Spending money on this team right now does not make sense since MLB has ignored our good faith over the last year. That reminds me, Bud Selig
