I discovered this morning that The Times Web site has a new look. Overall, it is a much lighter look that is seemingly wider. The six-column design works, though the section kickers could use some color or bolding to make them stick out more.

Later in the day, I discovered the usatoday.com has switched the look of their article pages, but the front page reamins the same, for now. They are wider and have a much more simplified navigation, using only the top area instead of the left side. Compare the old design to the new one.
