Nats’ Offseason Focus Is Soriano, New ManagerThe Post
I think the Nationals will focus a whole lot more on figuring out who the new manager will be than they will on deciding whether to keep Alfonso Soriano. I am convinced Stan Kasten has no interest in paying top dollar for a slugger that will not get the team out of last place.

Fired Marlins manager Joe Girardi appears to be the big prize this offseason. The Nats want to find out more about his controversial tenure in South Florida.

Another possible candidate is Tony Beasley (The Free Lance Star), currently the Nats third base coach, and a one-time AA manager of the year with Altoona. He’s already locked up the MissChatter endorsement.

The parking garage struggles continue.

By the way, there is whiny op-ed in The Wash. Examiner that I am not going to bother posting. It states the obvious, complains a lot and offers no solutions.
