The Caps head are in Philly for tonight’s game 3 against the Flyers. After coming off of a loss on Sunday, I expect Bruce Boudreau to have the Caps focused and playing as a team again. This team hasn’t gotten down for long and I don’t expect them change anything about that now. I also don’t expect the Caps to be intimidated when they get out on the Wachovia Center ice. The Caps have won the last four times they have played there. The Flyers should have their hands full tonight.

I also don’t think the Capitals will be too intimidated because the game might not be a sellout. Yes, the “real hockey town” had tickets still available this morning, something Ted Leonsis addressed today. Perhaps NBC blowhards (The Inky) should be getting on the Flyers case next time, no? I’m not too worried about what failed GM Mike Milbury thinks though. I will thank Milbury for giving Alex Ovechkin some bulletin board material though.

Of course, the game isn’t won based on attendance or who NBC loves or hates, it is won on the ice. I think the Caps bounce back tonight.
