Toronto Halts Nats’ Win Streak at FourThe Post
Nats’ run ends, unlike Zimmerman’s slumpThe Wash. Times
After reeling off four straight wins, a season high, the Nationals fell behind early to Toronto on Father’s Day. Shairon Martis didn’t have it going on and by the time we were rolling to the extended family Father’s Day celebration, they were already down 6-2. Joel Hanrahan had another bad ninth inning, but the Nats went down with a fight, tacking on two runs in the bottom of the inning, final score 9-4.

Oh well, but a four game win streak shows hope for the rest of the season, as the pitching has been improved. Hopefully, it will continue and those sleepy bats (ahem, Ryan Zimmerman) will wake up.
