Okay, maybe night games at Wrigley Field aren’t so bad after all.

The Nationals, routed Carlos Zambrano and the Chicago Cubs last night. LF Josh Willingham homered twice, including a shot onto Waveland Ave. in the 4th. He had six RBI on the night. RF Elijah Dukes hit his first career grand slam in the fifth.

Washington stater Garrett Mock got the victory, but only lasted 5 2/3 innings.

Eddie Vedder
threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Reports that he went in for mop-up duty late in the game could not be confirmed.
