Brown Discusses Departure From Nats – National Journal, The Post
It took several days, but there is finally some meaningful local coverage on the departure Washington Nationals scouting director Dana Brown. He believes that taking a job as special assistant to Toronto Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos. It should be noted that Anthopoulos was an intern in Montreal that Brown gave a full time position. There is a lesson there I suppose.

The Blue Jays requested permission to speak with Brown about the job. It sounds like Brown left on good terms. He had been with the franchise since 2002. Possible successors include crosschecker Kris Kline. There are a lot of holes in the front office right now.
