Let’s see, yesterday the Washington Redskins signed Donovan McNabb signs a ridiculous contract extension (5 years, $78 million) that would expire when he is 40 years old. Then, I turn the game on a minute late and see the Philadelphia Eagles had scored already. After the second Eagles touchdown, I feel asleep on the couch, woke up, saw it was 21-0 and went to bed. I half expected the final to be something like 56-0 when I checked the final this morning, but it turns out it was 59-28. Yay for biggest offensive output of the year. Also, McNabb’s deal means he can be cut without a huge hit after this year and a seemingly managable hit the year after. Not a bad way to do it.

I’m glad I have a lot more invested emotionally in the Nationals and Capitals than the Redskins. I feel for those who haven’t made that kind of choice.

So, the gold pants are 1-3, right?
