The Washington Nationals looked on their way to another ugly loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks, but Ian Desmond’s walk off homer earned the first curly W in the books in a week. He couldn’t have done it without Bryce Harper though, who had doubled earlier. Harper went 3-4 — 2 doubles off the right center field wall and one infield hit.
So, that Sports Illustrated jinx is over, right?
