The Washington Nationals 2014 regular season schedule is now posted. Here’s the breakdown by month:

March | April | May | June | July | August | September

Opening Day will be in New York against the Mets on Monday, March 31 (CORRECTED FROM EARLIER), because MLB thinks Peter Angelos getting a turn is more important than the Nation’s Capital. The Home Opener will be against the Atlanta Braves on Friday, April 4.

Speaking of Angelos, the interleague series is moved to July – 7&8 in D.C., 9&10 in Baltimore.

The AL West is the overall interleague opponent.

Mother’s Day, May 11 is at the Oakland Athletics.

The trip to Pittsburgh to play the Pirates is on May 22-25, a weekend.

Memorial Day, May 26 is at home against the Miami Marlins.

Father’s Day is June 22 against the Braves at home.

The Chicago trip is a four-game set the last weekend in June, so day games at Wrigley Field are assured.

July 4 is home against the Cubs.

Labor Day is September 1 at the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The season ends with a six-game homestand against the Mets and Marlins, finishing up September 28.
