ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation announced 2022 kayak cleanups for through the month of June. Life vests, kayaks outfitted with baskets and grabbers are provided by the foundation.
Saturday 4 June, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
Sunday 12 June, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM EDT
Wednesday 30 June, 5pm-7:30pm EDT
Registration is free – I participated the last two years and enjoyed both the stewardship and the kayaking. Unfortunately, Four Mile Run can use all the help. Nevertheless, this is a fun way to help make the community a better place.
Sign-ups are open 2-4 weeks prior to each scheduled event.
