Yet another Washingtonian pushing the ubiquitous Nats/DC sports, Penn State, commuting, bicycling, kayaking, broomball, skiing, gin & tonic agenda.
After 55 years without local breweries, Washington became home to several of them since 2011. Port City Brewing Co. of Alexandria was the first to open, followed by DC Brau in the District. Others have followed. I chronicle them from time to time, but wonder when one will start selling a lager full-time.
